Rwanda, Burundi, Cambodia, Cameroon, Chad, Chile, China, Jordan, Swaziland (Eswatini), South Africa, Sudan, Thailand, Tanzania, Uganda, Ukraine, Vietnam, Yemen, Chile, Jordan, Benin, Ghana, Zimbabwe - my work has already led me to many countries of the world.
Since 1979, I have been working as a computer engineer in the field of computer technology. What started with training, programming and system support services for small to large companies has evolved into a comprehensive range of services ranging from IT consulting to system integration of complex ICT solutions.
At last I was primarily working for the country offices, programs and projects of the GIZ GmbH - German Development Cooperation - in Africa and Asia and, together with GIZ employees, train the on-site IT administrators in all regions where GIZ operates worldwide.
With my family, I lived in Africa from 1990 to 1995 and thereafter from 2005 to 2017 in Asia and Africa again. Since 2021 I am based in Hamburg, Germany continuing freelance ICT support.
